New Year, New Game!


So I’ve started a new game from scratch. Enter Project Ghost. I started this prototype without any idea of what I wanted to create, just as I did with my first games two decades ago.

And as I started diving into the development, I came up with an idea to make a spiritual successor for Fantasma, the second game I released back in 2004.

The premise of Project Ghost is similar: you travel through dungeons collecting skulls to find your way out, only this time in a first person perspective in 3D.

The game also reuses some ideas of what Mary's Conjure was supposed to be. Similar to the idea we at ExaGames had in mind for Mary's Conjure, Project Ghost uses a custom dungeon generator that enables the game to be different each time is played. Only this time this is actually happening!

There's not much more to say about this at this point. I'll continue throwing code and ideas, and hopefully I'll get feedback from the community!
