Beginning 2.0 - The Leaderboard is Back!

I’m thrilled to announce that Beginning has just been updated to version 2.0!

One of the biggest changes in this release is the return of the leaderboard. In the original version, players could compete for the top score, but after I had to cancel my hosting plan, the leaderboard disappeared. Now, thanks to the free services provided by globalstats.io, the leaderboard is back and better than ever! You can once again challenge your friends and see who can reach the top.

In addition to this, several minor fixes have been implemented to make your play sessions smoother, and I’ve added improved error handling, ensuring that if anything goes wrong, I can catch and address it quickly.

Lastly, the game’s code has been fully upgraded to Game Maker Studio 2, keeping it up to date and ready for future updates!

For those who don’t know, Beginning was originally released in 2018 to celebrate the birth of my firstborn child. While it’s a personal project, I hope you can still find some fun in it.
